Melissa Engelson, DC, DHPE, MS, CSCS, DACBSP®, ICCSP, assistant professor and clinical assessor at Logan, was recently appointed to the American Chiropractic Association’s (ACA) Sports Council Bylaws Task Force. The ACA Sports Council was established to help provide advanced educational programs to engage chiropractors who are committed to improving and promoting chiropractic treatment of athletes. Dr. Engelson will be working to review and update the council’s bylaws. This term will culminate at the ACA Engage in 2022. Honoring the Career and Service of Dr. Mark Reeve

The Logan community lost long-time friend and colleague Mark Reeve, DC (’79) of Austin, Minnesota, this past weekend. Dr.  Mark Reeve was a proud alum and advocate for chiropractic, serving his community and the profession. For more than 25 years, Dr. Reeve volunteered his time to serving Logan’s Board of Trustees and the Logan Alumni Association, fulfilling two years as president. He was also a Logan benefactor, supporting the University financially as well as through his time as an associate faculty member with Logan’s preceptor program. Student Ambassadors Help New Students Transition to Virtual Life at Logan

For any student starting school this summer, the transition post-pandemic means beginning the school year online rather than on campus. This can be a challenge for many students as they adjust to a new class rigor.
