Micheala Edwards, DC (‘09) has been elected president of the American Black Chiropractic Association (ABCA). She is the fourth woman in the history of the organization to be named president. “Being elected president was a goal I set for myself years ago,” Dr. Edwards said. “I’m very excited to now serve the ABCA in this new role.” Dr. Edwards practices at E. Renee is Secretary of Logan’s SABCA chapter and the fourth consecutive Logan student to be elected to the regional position. Logan University Partners with Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System

Starting this fall, chiropractic students at Logan University will be able to complete their clinical rotations at Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS). The opportunity comes by way of an agreement between Logan and CAVHS. A recent law change in Arkansas now allows Chiropractic students to gain hands-on educational experience, as Arkansas had historically been an “observation-only” state.
