Five students from Logan University’s Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) program attended a Career Roadshow in Milwaukee on March 9 and 10. Hosted by Logan Career Services, the event was designed to help student doctors explore a variety of career options and build their network of professional contacts. Master of Science in Strength and Conditioning (MS-SC) student Logan Radik’s interest in sports science began during his time as a collegiate wrestler at Maryville University in Chesterfield, Missouri. After he graduated, he wanted to keep competing in some type of sport. “I stumbled upon the USA Bobsled Combine and decided to try out for the team,” Logan said. “I needed to train in order to do so, and my strength coach from Maryville agreed to train me. James Haliburton, MD, a psychiatrist and faculty member at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas and a student in Logan’s Doctor of Health Professions Education (DHPE) program, is a dedicated lifelong learner.
