When you come to a Logan Chiropractic Health Center for your first visit, you will...
  • Be greeted at the reception desk by our friendly staff.
  • Fill out the appropriate paperwork and insurance forms.
  • Meet the intern and supervising clinician responsible for your care.
  • Have a comprehensive history of your health evaluated.
  • Receive a thorough examination in order to determine a diagnosis.
  • Complete the necessary X-Rays and lab work, if indicated.

For your second visit, you will...
  • Have the results explained in a comprehensive manner.
  • Discuss the recommended treatment plan and schedule of follow-up appointments
  • Have your first spinal manipulation.

Services & Fees

Often, the Logan University Chiropractic Health Centers offers more affordable care than most insurance co-pays. With the variety of insurance plans available today, it is impossible to predict whether or not a plan covers chiropractic care, so please bring your insurance card on your first visit.

What is an adjustment?

There are several types of adjustments Doctors of Chiropractic use to restore function to joins that are not moving properly. The action of the technique may be a quick thrust or slow pressure. Your Doctor of Chiropractic will determine the best technique for you.


Who can visit a chiropractor?

Chiropractic care can benefit the whole family - from infants to seniors. Chiropractic care for children is gentle and effective. In addition, chiropractic care is effective for pregnant women and can assist in easing low back pain that women often experience during pregnancy.


What conditions can Doctors of Chiropractic treat?

Chiropractic physicians can assist with complaints beyond neck and back pain, including issues of carpal tunnel, headaches, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. In addition, Doctors of Chiropractic educate patients about healthy lifestyle choices including sleeping habits, nutrition and custom exercise regimens.


What are the educational requirements for a Doctor of Chiropractic?

Students at Logan must complete more than 5,000 hours of graduate-level classroom and clinical courses. Coursework includes anatomy, physiology, pathology, X-ray studies and more. Every student spends one year working with patients at one of the Logan University Chiropractic Health Centers. These senior interns are overseen by a licensed St. Louis chiropractor who assists the interns with patient care.
