Meet the Team: Dr. Regina Glenn and Audra Kramer

Regina Glenn, PhD, RHIA, CHDA, CCS has been promoted as Program Director for the Master of Science in Health Informatics (MSHI).

In her new role, Dr. Glenn offers administrative oversight and supervision for all facets of the degree program. Additionally, she will continue to instruct students within the program and is responsible for the capstone/internship program.

Dr. Glenn’s responsibilities extend to the design, development, implementation, and assessment of the program curriculum. She is involved in crafting policies and procedures to effectively manage all aspects of the program, ensuring fair, equitable, and considerate treatment of both prospective and enrolled students. Furthermore, she plays a role in student recruitment, advisement, evaluation and academic counseling, as appropriate.

“This is an exciting time to be involved in the growing arena of Health Informatics,” she said. “For me, it is even more thrilling to be able to guide those expanding their skills and knowledge in this field.”

Dr. Glenn is also tasked with overseeing all MSHI degree program faculty and staff.

 

Audra Kramer, MPH, RDN, LD, CDCES has been named a clinical nutrition coordinator for the Master of Science in Applied Nutrition and Dietetics program at Logan University. Audra holds a Master of Public Health degree from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and completed her dietetics training at Virginia Tech. She is also a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with the Commission on Dietetics Registration and a Licensed Dietitian in the state of Missouri. Her experience includes practicing as a clinical dietitian in both inpatient and outpatient settings with emphasis in the areas of diabetes management and eating disorder treatment.

Stepping into her new role she will not only teach courses but also plan experiential learning rotation schedules and mentor students in the program. Audra will also contribute to preceptor recruitment and help maintain program accreditation.

“I’m excited to be able to support and guide students during such a pivotal point in building their careers and I’m honored to be a part of their journeys,” she said about her new role.
