Stephanie Rossler, MS, RDN (’21) was always interested in nutrition and helping others optimize their health. Originally from Mobile, Alabama, Stephanie attended the University of Alabama where she graduated in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition. After graduation, Stephanie moved to Mobile, AL with dietetics on her mind, but decided to begin working in corporate wellness. Arthur Kaufer, DC (’89) and David Kaufer, DC (’89) try to make their patients feel as at home as they do at their chiropractic practice. For 34 years the brothers have operated Kaufer Chiropractic from the same historic 1930s home where they grew up. “I leave my house in the morning, and I’m at home the rest of my day at my office,” Dr. David said. “Our practice is not a typical doctor’s office. Inaugural Class Taught in Fuhr Science Center

On Wednesday, September 6, Logan University opened the doors to the brand-new Fuhr Science Center building. Logan’s Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) students had the opportunity to join co-founder and chairman of the Activator Methods International, and the building’s namesake, Dr. Arlan Fuhr (’61) in the building’s brand-new Activator Technique Lab. “Having a new, state of the art Activator Lab increases the ability for students to learn the technique and become proficient doctors prior to graduation,” said Jared Hardina, trimester 8 DC student. “The technique has proven to be applicable for all patients in all demographics, and the future of the …

Timothy “TJ” Williamson, DC (’19), attended the University of Arkansas for his bachelor’s degree in exercise science. While there he worked as a personal trainer and at a physical therapy practice helping a variety of patients from CrossFit athletes to Razorback football players. “The chiropractors I worked with while at Arkansas were Active Release Technique (ART) specialists who worked closely with athletes on myofascial release,” said Dr. Williamson. “At the time I knew I wanted to get into the medical field but wasn’t sure which path to take. Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, Glenn Miller’s, DC (’19), path to becoming a wellness expert was far from predictable. His childhood was marked by frequent illnesses, fostering skepticism toward health care. However, Logan’s Doctor of Chiropractic program changed the trajectory of his life. After attending Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.
