Logan University is proud to welcome Elise G. Hewitt, DC, DICCP, FICC as program director for chiropractic pediatric education. A board certified pediatric chiropractor and one of the foremost authorities in the specialty of chiropractic pediatrics, Dr. Hewitt has spent her entire career advocating for the chiropractic care of children. Dr. Hewitt is an alumna of the University of Colorado and a summa cum laude graduate of Western States Chiropractic College (now UWS). In addition to treating children in her pediatrics-only practice, Dr. Hewitt served as president of the ACA Pediatrics Council for 10 years and is a member of the …

Logan University Partners with University Hospitals Connor Integrative Health Network for Student Training

Logan University is proud to announce a clinical training affiliation with University Hospitals (UH) Connor Integrative Health Network in Cleveland, Ohio. The partnership was established through Logan graduate David Vincent, DC (’91), Buoncore Family Endowed Director of Chiropractic Medicine at UH Connor Integrative Health Network. Dr. Vincent was responsible for introducing chiropractic to the UH organization and has integrated chiropractic into a number of UH institutes, such as primary care, sports medicine, and spine and pain management. For James Robinson, Logan University’s Bachelor of Science in Human Biology (BSHB) program presented a path for him to achieve his dream of becoming a physician. James was a specialist in the United States Army’s 3rd Special Forces Group stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, from 2006 to 2010. After he was disabled during combat while deployed in Afghanistan, he served in the U.S. Army Reserve until 2014.
