About Our Host Dr. Deshae Redden

Dr. Deshae Redden is the Program Director of the Health Informatics Program and Continuous Improvement Coach at Logan University.

 Dr. Redden joined Logan in November 2015 after earning her Bachelors in Health Information Management from Lindenwood University and a Masters in Leadership and Organizational Development from Saint Louis University. She also earned her Doctorate in Education from Maryville University.

She has 16 years of experience working in healthcare systems, higher education and state agencies, serving as leader and change agent, employing best practices to achieve operational and strategic priorities and initiatives. A certified project manager and continuous improvement professional, Dr. Redden has consulting expertise in healthcare, supply chain, education, information technology, government and non-profit organization. She has also served as an examiner for state quality improvement programs in Missouri and Texas.

As a leader, Dr. Redden believes in inspiring and empowering individuals to use their strengths and unique abilities as tools to achieve their goals. As an educator, she strives to learn from her students to improve her teaching, understanding, and connection with students to enhance their learning experience. Finally, Dr. Redden chairs Logan University’s Leadership Council, and she is a member of the Quality Texas Foundation Board of Examiners and the Hope Dream Center Board.
