World Para Powerlifting Invites Logan Faculty, Staff to Lead Webinars for New Series

World Para Powerlifting (WPPO) recently launched a webinar series for coaches, athletes, administrators, technical officials and classifiers in the para powerlifting world. The series will feature diverse topics, such as sports nutrition, sports and rehabilitation, and more, delivered by researchers, educators and experts around the world. WPPO invites Logan faculty and staff to submit a proposal for consideration to lead a webinar. Presenters will have the chance to discuss a topic in their area of expertise with participating members of the para powerlifting community. Help Logan Recognize National Chiropractic Health Month

The theme of this year’s National Chiropractic Health Month (NCHM) is “Active and Adaptive,” which will focus on helping people adapt to the new normal and maintain musculoskeletal health and function in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. After months of sheltering in place, many people are still practicing lifestyle changes necessitated by the pandemic to reduce their exposure. 2021 A.C.E.S. Registration Now Open

Ignite a passion for science and natural medicine. The Anatomy Centered Education & Science (A.C.E.S.) Workshop invites area high school students and future college freshmen to experience learning at Logan University while exploring careers in health care. The one-week program is taught in small groups by physicians and professionals from various medical specialties. Students will study physical anatomy, body systems, health, wellness and prevention and gain hands-on experience in cadaver dissection, radiology and more. National Women’s Health and Fitness Day focuses on the importance of regular physical activity and health awareness for women and is the largest annual health promotion for women of all ages. To share why it’s important for women to move, breathe and nourish their bodies and minds each day, Kristina Petrocco-Napuli, DC, MS, FICC, FACC, assistant dean of the College of Chiropractic at Logan and president of the American Chiropractic Association’s Council on Women’s Health, joined Fox 2 St. Louis this morning. Logan University welcomes Vitaly Napadow, PhD, LicAc as the keynote speaker for the 13th Annual Joseph W. Howe Oration in Diagnostic Imaging.
