Scholarships

Forever Chiropractic, Forever Logan

Logan understands our long-term obligation to a sustainable funding model, and as such, the Forever Chiropractic, Forever Logan Endowed Scholarship Initiative is an opportunity to support chiropractic scholarships into perpetuity. As demand for health services continue to increase, so does the demand for qualified doctors of chiropractic. Yet, the rising cost of education presents a debilitating challenge for future students. Many bright individuals who have the potential to advance the profession and positively impact human lives are unable to afford the cost of tuition.

Our goal is to create the single largest scholarship endowment of any chiropractic college. Through a donation of $10,000 or more to the Forever Chiropractic, Forever Logan Endowed Scholarship Initiative, you can ensure access to tuition support for generations of chiropractic students to come. The impact of a gift to this scholarship endowment is considerable, as your gift will continue to provide assistance in perpetuity, leaving a lasting legacy on Logan University, our current and future students, and the chiropractic profession overall.

All Forever Chiropractic, Forever Logan donors receive the following benefits:

  • Acknowledgement of your donation on the Forever Chiropractic, Forever Logan Recognition Wall near the entrance of the Student Center on campus.
  • Recognition at the Spring Symposium event and in the Logan University Annual Report of Giving.
  • Annual impact report on the growth of the endowment and information on fund distribution and student recipient biographies.
  • Special invitations to a variety of Logan University events.

Leaders Made Annual Scholarship Initiative

We hope you will consider becoming a part of a special group of donors who provide annual scholarship support to Logan students. While Logan University maintains one of the lowest tuition fees of all chiropractic institutions, the reality is that an increasing number of students are struggling to fund their education. Your support will allow us to make a Logan education accessible to as many gifted students as possible.

Our goal is to fund 25 annual scholarships through the Leaders Made Scholarship Initiative. The average Logan scholarship per year is $3,986. Providing scholarship aid allows us to attract and retain the most talented students, regardless of socioeconomic status. Your support can make the difference!

Annual Named Scholarship

Establish an annual scholarship in your name or the name of a loved one. An annual commitment of $1,500 or more per year for three years is required (total gift of $4,500). The annual scholarship is awarded to a recipient each year based on criteria established by the donor and Logan University when the scholarship is created. Unlike an endowed scholarship, an annual scholarship is not a permanent fund and is awarded only as long as the donor chooses to contribute to the fund.

Endowed Scholarship

Establishing an endowed scholarship is a unique way to ensure your gift will live into perpetuity. An endowed scholarship is an investment in the future of Logan University students and can be named after you or an important loved one. The corpus of this fund is invested and a portion of the endowment’s annual earnings are used to fund the scholarship. Endowed Scholarships range in size from $25,000 to $1,000,000. A gift of $1,000,000 funds full tuition for one student into perpetuity, whereas smaller endowed scholarships fund a portion of a student’s tuition. A minimum commitment of $25,000, payable into one gift or multiple gifts over a maximum of 5 years, is required to established a named endowed scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to a recipient each year based on criteria established by the donor and Logan University when the scholarship is created.

Benefits for Annual & Endowed Scholarships:

  • Annual impact report on the growth of the endowment and information on fund distribution and student recipient biographies.
