Nancy Mitchell, MSN, RN is the director of nursing and dean of health science at East Central College (ECC) in Union, Missouri. Nancy attended ECC for her associate degree before earning her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Central Methodist University and her master’s in nursing from Maryville University. She came back to ECC as a full-time nursing instructor, a position she held for more than 15 years, until she was promoted to her current position. An extremely competitive program, this position is open to any DC eligible for licensure or with a license in the state of Missouri who has graduated from an accredited chiropractic program and has a passion and desire to work in integrated clinical settings such as community-based health centers and hospitals. Carmen Fronczak: Using Health Informatics to Improve Senior Care

Carmen Fronczak, RN, BBA, MS (’18) has made a career around helping others. She started as a nurse then moved into health care business development, where she spent 20 years working for various health care systems in the St. Louis area. “I had recently started working in senior living when I decided to further my education,” Carmen said. “I was the sales director at Friendship Village and wanted to move into the administrative side of the business, so I began looking at advanced degrees.” Carmen needed a flexible program that could fit alongside her already busy career and personal life.
