Micheala Edwards, DC (‘09) has been elected president of the American Black Chiropractic Association (ABCA). She is the fourth woman in the history of the organization to be named president. “Being elected president was a goal I set for myself years ago,” Dr. Edwards said. “I’m very excited to now serve the ABCA in this new role.” Dr. Edwards practices at E. Elite Wellness Center in Kansas City, Missouri, and has previously served as ABCA Vice President and Treasurer. Honoring the Career and Service of Dr. Mark Reeve

The Logan community lost long-time friend and colleague Mark Reeve, DC (’79) of Austin, Minnesota, this past weekend. Dr.  Mark Reeve was a proud alum and advocate for chiropractic, serving his community and the profession. For more than 25 years, Dr. Reeve volunteered his time to serving Logan’s Board of Trustees and the Logan Alumni Association, fulfilling two years as president. He was also a Logan benefactor, supporting the University financially as well as through his time as an associate faculty member with Logan’s preceptor program. Logan Postgrad Offers Activator Technique Courses

Logan University Postgraduate Department is pleased to announce that we will be bringing you the first series of online Interactive Virtual Training courses on the Activator Technique. There are a total of 36 hours of CE credit, with each module being 12 hours. The first module is the Basic Scan Protocol of the Activator Method. The Basic Scan will take you on a tour of why Activator works, and how to perform adjustments across the body. Brett Winchester, DC (’03) has been around the world and back, bringing his knowledge of spinal cord care to every corner of the globe. From classrooms and lecture halls to Major League Baseball stadiums, he has taught and treated countless students, athletes and patients.
