The mission of the Learning Resources Center (LRC) is to provide resources and services that support student learning, effective teaching, research and patient care according to the mission, vision and values of Logan University.

On Wednesday, March 27, 2019, the Logan University Learning Resources Center was renamed the George A. Goodman, DC Learning Resources Center in honor of our former Logan University President, Dr. George A. Goodman, and his many contributions to the Logan Community.

LRC Hours

Monday-Thursday: 6:30am-10pm
Friday: 6:30am-5pm
Saturday: 10am-5pm
Sunday: Noon-5pm

Student Computer Lab
Monday-Saturday: 6:30am-10pm

The LRC is closed on Logan University holidays and hours vary during academic breaks.

    Books & Journals
    Alumni and field doctors may borrow books and journals. The loan period is two weeks.

    InTouch is a reference list of current articles of interest that is compiled by the reference librarian along with recommendations from faculty. View InTouch online or contact to sign up for notifications of new issues by email.

    A list of freely available resources is located on our Databases page by selecting Free under Database Type. This guide also includes subject-specific recommendations, with each page listing Logan subscriptions and freely available resources.

    Due to vendor or publisher restrictions, databases that are proprietary (indicated with a lock symbol) are not available for alumni or field doctors, unless visiting on-campus.

    Journal Articles / Copy Service / Document Delivery
    Need a copy of an article? We can provide copies for a processing fee of $8/article for alumni or $10/non-alumni. Contact us at (636) 230-1781 or

    A valid credit card number by phone is required prior to sending copies for each transaction.

    Literature Search and Citation Service
    Logan librarians will perform a literature search on your subject of interest, or provide you with a requested amount of articles on your topic. Literature searches are $20/per hour. The average search is one hour. If articles are ordered from the literature search, the processing fee for the articles is applied to the cost of the search and the search fee is then waived. See Copy Service above for details on charges per article, for those that are not freely available online. Please contact 636-230-1788 for a literature search or other reference services you require.

    Archival Materials
    Logan houses the archives off-campus and items may be retrieved from the facility with advanced notice. Anyone wishing access to the materials from the archives may contact for assistance. Many archival items, including photos, yearbooks and newsletters, have been digitized and are available from the Logan Digital Archive.
  • About the Library

    The LRC hosts a collection of over 12,600 volumes of books and 120,000 ebooks. The LRC also includes print and/or electronic access to over 80 individual journal subscriptions and 30 online citation databases that provide access to 27,900 electronic journals and 1,500 items in the media collection. In addition, an outstanding collection of over 700 natural and synthetic bones, models and laminated charts are available. Logan’s electronic resources including databases, journal subscriptions, ebooks, online catalog as well as research guides. The Student Computer Lab offers more than 80 computer workstations with wired and wireless Internet access, and a variety of software programs.
