About Our Speaker

Originally from North Carolina, Dr. Brittany Ramirez received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from High Point University. After graduating, she worked for several years as an athletic trainer in professional and collegiate athletics settings and then in a clinical role in private practice where she was introduced to the chiropractic profession. Fascinated by chiropractic, she enrolled at Logan University, graduating with her Doctorate of Chiropractic in December 2015. Following her graduation from Logan, Dr. Ramirez returned to the athletics setting as a certified athletic trainer at the University of Missouri and opened her private practice, Columbia Chiropractic Group. She joined the University of Missouri’s Sports Medicine team in 2016 as a team chiropractor 2 alongside her husband, Dr. José Ramirez. She then returned to Logan as the Assistant Director of Human Performance at the University of Missouri, training interns from the DC program. Dr. Ramirez earned her Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician certification (CCSP) and graduated with her Masters of Sports Science and Rehabilitation from this very program in 2018. Dr. Ramirez’s passion and expertise has always been in sports medicine and advancing the opportunities for young professionals in the field. She is looking forward to expanding the MSSR program’s footprint nationally, establishing exciting new internship opportunities and maintaining the quality education which Logan University provides.
