A New Chapter Begins: Logan Clinician Ventures to Vietnam to Open Chiropractic Clinic

A dream that was put on hold for five years is now coming to fruition for Jesse Politowski, DC (’13).

The Logan clinician is starting a new chapter of his life in Vietnam where he plans to open a chiropractic clinic. “After I graduated from Logan, I worked in Southeast Asia for six years,” he said. “But during a trip back to the U.S., the pandemic hit. I always wanted to go back. I love it there, and it’s been my dream to start a practice.”

Dr. Politowski said in the country that is home to approximately 98 million people, there are only 15 legal chiropractors, most of whom are based in Ho Chi Minh City. With plans to live and work in the city of Thanh Hoa City, three hours south of Hanoi, Dr. Politowski will bring chiropractic awareness and care to many who have never had access.

He plans to start as a general family practice and eventually hire associates and build a clinic system. “I would love to have preceptors so they too can experience it,” he said.

Armed with a portable table and two suitcases, Dr. Politowski said he is more excited than nervous about the life change. “There is such a need in that area, and I’ve seen how receptive they are to chiropractic care.”

But that’s not all he’ll be bringing abroad. A background in business administration and marketing as well as 10 years of clinical experience both in Vietnam and in Logan Health Centers has provided him with the tools and knowledge to provide quality care but also the ability to educate patients and run a business.

While Dr. Politowski has already achieved many milestones both personally and professionally, he is thrilled at the prospect of a new challenge. “I feel like I haven’t hit my prime yet, and I didn’t want this dream to die,” he said. “I look forward to helping as many people as I can and grow young chiropractors.”

Logan is thrilled when we see our alumni shine and pursue their dreams. There are so many unique opportunities that make chiropractic a rewarding and fulfilling profession for those who are passionate about helping others improve their health and wellbeing. Best of luck to you Dr. Politowski – you represent the chiropractic profession exceedingly well!
