Your First Step Toward a Rewarding Future
At the White Coat ceremony, students are welcomed to the chiropractic profession by the Logan University administration and faculty. You will be congratulated on your achievement in being selected as a Doctor of Chiropractic student. And, you will be informed of your commitment as a doctor in training to become proficient in the science, art and philosophy of chiropractic as well as the human aspect of being a doctor, especially the obligation of caring for your patients.
With the vast amount of scientific and technical data you are about to be immersed in, it is essential that you do not lose sight of the core objective of becoming a doctor—to do good for the health of the people you serve. The White Coat ceremony symbolizes the students’ pledge to diligently pursue your chiropractic education and training from that day forward to as long as you treat patients, to put the interest of your patients before your own, to respect and value your fellow students as colleagues as well as those who have taught them and to behave well and honorably throughout your career, always striving to be worthy of the privilege of being a doctor
