Logan University Names Director of Women’s Clinic

Logan University is proud to announce the appointment of Delia Overschmidt, DC (’14), MS (’15) as the new director of the Foot Levelers Women’s Health Clinic at Logan’s Montgomery Health Center. A Logan alumna and three-year member of the health center team, Dr. Overschmidt brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for women’s health to the clinic.

“Women’s health is at the heart of my work as a chiropractic physician, and I am passionate about creating a space where women feel heard, supported and empowered,” Dr. Overschmidt said. “Through chiropractic care, education and mentorship, I look forward to guiding women—and those who care for them—toward greater wellness, resilience and confidence in their bodies.”

Dr. Overschmidt graduated from Logan’s Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) program in 2014 and returned in 2022 as a faculty clinician, overseeing patient care and DC student interns. A dedicated member of the Women’s Clinic since its opening in 2024, Dr. Overschmidt specializes in perinatal and postpartum care; pelvic, menstrual and hormonal health; musculoskeletal care across the lifespan; female athlete performance; and nutrition, wellness and preventative health.

In her new role, Dr. Overschmidt will oversee the Women’s Clinic operations, guide curriculum integration for Logan DC students in the women’s health rotation and provide high-quality care for women in the St. Louis and Chesterfield community.

“One of the greatest joys of my role is not only caring for women in our community but also guiding DC students as they grow into compassionate, skilled chiropractors who can confidently serve as women’s health specialists,” she said. “By combining patient care with teaching, I hope to inspire the next generation to continue advancing women’s health through chiropractic.”

Dr. Overschmidt, born and raised in Maine, earned her bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from the University of New Hampshire, where she played collegiate softball and studied abroad in New Zealand. She also holds a master’s degree in nutrition and human performance from Logan.

Logan’s Foot Levelers Women’s Health Clinic offers a comprehensive approach to care, including chiropractic services, diagnostic imaging, nutritional counseling and more, all conveniently accessible for a flat fee of $20, with acupuncture available for an additional $20.
