Herb Caldwell joined Logan University in May 2017 and serves as Chief of Compliance & Engagement. His areas of responsibility include compliance, risk management, diversity, equity, and inclusion(DEI). In addition, he serves as the Title IX Coordinator and Equal Employment Opportunity Officer.
Dr. Caldwell previously was Assistant Dean at Saint Louis University and has served in various capacities in enrollment management and DEI at MacMurray College and the University of Illinois. He earned a Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership from Missouri Baptist University, a Master of Arts from the University of Illinois Springfield, and Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he was a member of men’s basketball.
He considers his tenure at Logan one of the most fulfilling in his nearly 25-year career in higher education, as the students and employees are committed to a mission that promotes education, service, and excellence in health care provision.
