World Para Powerlifting Invites Logan Faculty, Staff to Lead Webinars for New Series

World Para Powerlifting (WPPO) recently launched a webinar series for coaches, athletes, administrators, technical officials and classifiers in the para powerlifting world. The series will feature diverse topics, such as sports nutrition, sports and rehabilitation, and more, delivered by researchers, educators and experts around the world.

WPPO invites Logan faculty and staff to submit a proposal for consideration to lead a webinar. Presenters will have the chance to discuss a topic in their area of expertise with participating members of the para powerlifting community.

To submit a webinar proposal, please contact Dr. Kelley Humphries, Executive Director of Paralympic Operations at Logan at kelley.humphries@logan.edu. Include your CV, the title of your webinar topic and the length of the presentation, which should be no more than one hour. All submissions will be sent directly to WPPO for consideration.

For any additional questions about the series, Para Powerlifting or topic development, please contact Dr. Humphries.

All webinars will be presented live through Microsoft Teams, and a recorded version will be available for viewing on-demand afterwards. The webinar series is free and offers a Certificate of Participation for each session attended if registration is completed and feedback is provided.

Live subtitles for webinars delivered in English will be available in Arabic, French, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. To access the webinar series, complete the form found here.
