Julia D. Bartlett, DC is a retired chiropractor and academic administrator whose 30 year career in higher education focused on advancing health care education.
She retired from Saint Paul College as Dean of Health Sciences, where she provided leadership for more than 17 academic programs. Her previous roles include Dean of the College of Chiropractic, Interim Provost, and faculty member at Cleveland University–Kansas City, as well as Associate Dean, Acting Dean of the College of Chiropractic, Senior Clinician, and faculty at Northwestern Health Sciences University.
Throughout her career, Dr. Bartlett has been committed to maintaining high educational standards, expanding access to quality learning opportunities, and fostering strong collaboration among faculty, staff, students, and industry partners to support student success. She began her professional journey in private chiropractic practice with her husband. Dr. Bartlett has extensive experience in academic accreditation with Higher Learning Commission and multiple programmatic accrediting agencies. She contributed to self-studies, hosted site visits, and developed strategies to meet accreditation standards.
Since 2008, she has served on numerous accreditation site teams as an active member of the Council on Chiropractic Education’s Site Team Academy. She holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Northwestern Health Sciences University.
