Support Beyond the Classroom
Your success depends on more than coursework. Logan pairs academic guidance with career preparation and whole-person support, so you have somewhere to turn no matter what you're working through.
Tutoring
Tutoring is free and open to on-campus and online students alike. Peer tutors hold a 3.0+ GPA and an A or B in the course they tutor; you can find one from the "Find a Tutor" link inside your Canvas course. Faculty also hold an hour of office hours per course each week, and online students meet tutors by video.
Line up help early for high-demand courses such as anatomy, functional anatomy, biochemistry and neuroanatomy. Full details, including the Technique Lab and teaching assistants, are on Tutoring.
Peer Mentorship Program
As a Trimester 1 student, you're paired with a student mentor from Trimesters 2–8. Your mentor offers answers, advice and understanding as you settle into life at Logan and make the most of its academic and social opportunities.
Career Services
Career preparation starts with hands-on training in your first trimester and continues through supervised clinical work, internships, and preceptorships. See Career Services for details.
Student Care Manager
If you're facing a medical, social, financial, or academic challenge, the Student Care Manager connects you to the right resources on or off campus. Call 636-230-1833 or email Student Care Manager Amanda Powell at Amanda.Powell@logan.edu, or reach the Office of Student Affairs at StudentAffairs@logan.edu.
