Demand for chiropractors and health science practitioners keeps rising, while the cost of education keeps more students out. Scholarship support lets Logan attract and keep the strongest students regardless of what they can pay.

The Forever Chiropractic, Forever Logan Endowed Scholarship Initiative supports chiropractic scholarships in perpetuity. Logan's goal is to build the single largest scholarship endowment of any chiropractic college, so tuition support reaches students for generations rather than a single year.

A gift of $10,000 or more joins the initiative. Because the fund is endowed, the gift keeps working long after it is made.

Donors to the initiative receive:

• Recognition on the Forever Chiropractic, Forever Logan wall near the Student Center entrance.
• Recognition at the spring Symposium and in the Logan University Annual Report of Giving.
• An annual impact report covering endowment growth, fund distribution and student recipients.
• Invitations to Logan University events throughout the year.

The Leaders Made Scholarship Initiative funds annual, ready-to-award scholarships. The goal is 25 funded scholarships a year, at an average of $3,986 each. Support can be spread across the year at whatever level works.

The Women's Scholarship Initiative sits within this program and supports current and future female DC students, honoring the women who built the profession and the women entering it now.

Establish a scholarship in your name or in honor of someone else, with award criteria set by you and Logan when the fund is created.

Donors to annual and endowed scholarships are recognized at the spring Symposium, meet their recipient, are listed in the Annual Report of Donors, and receive an annual impact report.

Named funds carry a donor's story forward. The Dr. Ken Leistner Memorial Scholarship is one example: an endowed award of $1,000 each trimester for a strength and conditioning student, honoring Kenneth Evan Leistner, DC ('80), who spent five decades combining chiropractic care with strength coaching and was inducted into the New York State Strength and Power Hall of Fame.
