Donating appreciated securities, mutual funds or bonds may let you avoid long-term capital gains tax while claiming an income-tax deduction. Advancement coordinates the transfer with your advisor.

Scholarships are Logan's most requested area of support. Annual named scholarships start at $1,500 a year for three years; endowed scholarships start at $25,000 and pay out in perpetuity. The Forever Chiropractic, Forever Logan endowment accepts gifts of $10,000 and up.

In honor of the late Kenneth Evan Leistner, DC ('80), world-renowned chiropractor and strength and fitness coach—"Dr. Ken" to those who knew him—Logan University has established the Dr. Ken Leistner Memorial Scholarship, which will award $1,000 to one strength and conditioning student every trimester. This is an endowed scholarship, meaning the donation is properly invested, earning yearly interest, and the interest is used to fund the scholarship. The principal amount itself will not be spent, which allows the scholarship to be available for future generations of strength and conditioning students.

The Business & Career Partnership Program connects practices, suppliers and employers to Logan through a single point of entry, at a range of levels and benefits.

Partner support funds ongoing improvements to Logan's curriculum, facilities and equipment. In return, partners reach a community of 15,000 alumni, donors, faculty and friends and a campus of more than 1,000 students.

• Invitations to Symposium, homecoming and other signature Logan events.

Sustained and leadership-level donors are recognized on the Forever Chiropractic, Forever Logan Recognition Wall near the Student Center entrance, and in the annual Report of Giving. Donors are also invited to the spring Symposium, where scholarship recipients are honored.
