Counseling & Disability Services

Students at Logan University seeking academic accommodations for specific learning disabilities, medical disabilities, psychological disabilities, or attention deficit disorders should contact the Office of Student Affairs, Office of Accessibility and Success, at Accessibility@logan.edu.

• Students with a documented learning, medical, or psychological disability
• Students with attention deficit disorders
• Students facing a temporary disability due to injury or another unexpected event

Follow these steps to request accommodations:

1. 1Complete the Disability Notification and Accommodation Request Form. It is the student's responsibility to inform Logan of their needs and provide documentation of the disability — the form outlines three options for submitting that documentation.
2. 2Meet with the Office of Accessibility and Success to discuss documentation requirements and the disability services Logan offers.
3. 3Accommodations are granted on a case-by-case basis, determined by the Office of Accessibility and Success based on your documentation and personal interview.

If you're dealing with a temporary disability due to injury or another event, the Office of Student Affairs will work with you on referrals to campus resources and services. Accommodations and services are determined case by case.

If you've already tried tutoring and meeting with your professor and are still having difficulty, schedule a confidential consultation with an Success Coach.

Documentation and accommodation decisions are handled case by case through the Office of Student Affairs and kept confidential to that process.
