Biography

Dr. Jeffrey O’Guin is a chiropractor, educator, and speaker with over 15 years of clinical experience specializing in biomechanics, functional rehabilitation, and evidence-based patient care. He is the owner of Embody Performance & Recovery in Kirkwood, Missouri, a practice built on the philosophy that movement is medicine.
A former adjunct faculty member at Logan University, Dr. O’Guin taught Advanced Biomechanics, Physical Rehabilitation, and Myofascial Principles, creating interactive, case-based learning experiences that emphasized clinical reasoning and practical skill application. He has presented for the Missouri Chiropractic Physicians Association and other professional groups, delivering hands-on workshops on spinal and extremity biomechanics, injury management, and active care integration.
Dr. O’Guin’s fascination with natural methods of health and healing began while managing his own injuries from physically demanding jobs, hiking heavy equipment during his service in the Marine Corps, and participating in contact sports. These experiences led him to explore yoga, functional rehabilitation, athletic training, strength and conditioning, myofascial release, acupuncture, stretching, and chiropractic.
Passionate about helping others live better, not just longer, Dr. O’Guin is known for blending manual therapy, progressive loading strategies, and patient education to improve outcomes, build resilience, and inspire lifelong movement.
