Brittany Ramirez, DC, MS, LAT, ATC, CCSP®
Biography
Dr. Brittany L. Ramirez is the Program Director for the Master of Science in Sports Science and Rehabilitation and the Master of Science in Strength and Conditioning programs at Logan University. With a career rooted in sports medicine and performance, Dr. Ramirez brings a wealth of clinical and academic expertise to her leadership and administrative roles.
Prior to her current position, she served as the Assistant Director of Human Performance at MIZZOU Athletics and as a clinical preceptor for Logan University’s Doctor of Chiropractic program. Over the course of nine seasons with MIZZOU Athletics, Dr. Ramirez worked as a certified athletic trainer and team chiropractic physician, becoming the sole female chiropractic physician serving an SEC football team.
Her extensive experience includes working with elite athletes across multiple championship platforms, including SEC and NCAA tournaments. She was also a member of the sports medicine teams for Richard Childress Racing (NASCAR), Professional Bull Riding (PBR), and the U.S. National Figure Skating Championship.
In 2016, Dr. Ramirez founded Columbia Chiropractic Group, where she practiced in multidisciplinary clinics within MIZZOU Physical Therapy. She holds a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Master of Science in Sports Science and Rehabilitation from Logan University, and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from High Point University. She is currently pursing an EdD in Health Professions Education from Logan University.
