Dr. Lexi Mikrut, DC, MS, is a Functional Medicine Physician at Aligned Modern Health with advanced training in clinical nutrition and personalized root-cause care. She specializes in autoimmune conditions, hormone balance, women’s health, pediatric functional medicine, and complex digestive concerns.

Dr. Mikrut takes a patient-centered, individualized approach to care—developing treatment plans based on each person’s unique clinical presentation, history, and goals. She emphasizes education, collaboration, and sustainable lifestyle strategies that help patients achieve long-term wellness and resilience.

She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from National University of Health Sciences and a Master of Science in Functional Medicine and Human Nutrition from the University of Western States. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Prior to joining the Functional Medicine team at Aligned Modern Health, Dr. Mikrut completed a clinical internship with AMH. Her practice blends evidence-based functional medicine with a strong foundation in nutrition, making her a trusted partner for patients seeking proactive, supportive care at every stage of life.
