Admission Requirements

In accordance with the Council on Chiropractic Education's standards, Logan offers multiple pathways into the Doctor of Chiropractic program.

• Accreditation: Credits and degrees must come from institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or CHEA. If your baccalaureate degree was earned at an unaccredited institution, an accredited post-baccalaureate degree is an acceptable alternative.
• Transcripts: Official transcripts must be sent directly to Logan from every institution attended — electronically to document.admissions@logan.edu, or mailed to the address below.

• Technical standards: A signed Technical Standards form must be on file.
• Resume: A current resume or CV.
• International applicants should also review International Students.

Life and physical sciences include courses such as biology, chemistry, anatomy, physiology, physics, kinesiology, microbiology and exercise science; introductory-level coursework does not count. We strongly encourage completing your bachelor's degree before entry, or through a 3+1 or 3+3 program, since many states require a bachelor's degree for licensure. Students admitted through the general pathways follow the standard 10-trimester degree plan.

Whichever pathway you enter through, you'll have access to science intensives during orientation to help you handle the program's rigorous science requirements.

Logan's Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies admits U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents who hold a bachelor's degree, meet the prerequisite coursework and GPA minimums, and complete an on-campus interview day. • Residency: U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents only.
• Degree: Bachelor's degree completed by September 1 before matriculation.
• GPA: Minimum 3.0 cumulative and 3.0 prerequisite GPA; preference for above 3.2 on both.
• Patient care: Minimum 500 hours of direct patient care experience.
• Recommendations: Three letters — one from a professor, academic advisor, research mentor or collegiate coach, and at least one recommended from a supervising PA, MD, DO or NP. No letters from family or friends.
• Advanced placement: Not offered.
• Resume: A current resume or CV.
• International applicants: NACES course-by-course transcript evaluation plus proof of English proficiency (a prior degree taught in English, TOEFL iBT, IELTS or Duolingo 110+).

Prerequisites must be completed within 10 years, with no more than two outstanding at application and all finished by September 1.

Interview day includes a program information session, multi-modal activities, faculty interview sessions, a campus tour and a financial aid briefing. Family members and guests do not attend, though they are welcome on a campus tour outside interview day or at a PA Program Visit Day — generally the last Monday of each month. Admission and progression also require the program's technical standards: observation; communication; motor skills; intellectual, conceptual, integrative and quantitative abilities; and behavioral, social and ethical attributes.

• Degree: Master's degree or higher from an accredited institution. International graduates must provide an official equivalency evaluation.
• Transcripts: Official transcripts from all institutions, sent directly to Logan.
• GPA: Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. Applicants with a 2.5–2.99 GPA may appeal to the Admissions Review Board for probationary acceptance.
• Documentation: Completed application with non-refundable fee and a current resume or CV.

The online Master of Science in Sports Science & Rehabilitation and the online Master of Science in Strength & Conditioning share the same admission requirements.

• Degree: Baccalaureate degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• GPA: Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
• Prerequisites: Grades of C or higher in six hours of physics, kinesiology, exercise science, biomechanics or statistics, and six hours of biological science.

• Documentation: Official transcripts from every institution attended, evidence of a completed baccalaureate degree, and a current resume or CV.

If you don't meet the course prerequisites, you may be eligible for probational admission — a reduced course load with regular Success Coach meetings — or the Alternative Admissions Track Program.

Master the science of nutrition through our online Master of Science in Nutrition and Human Performance.

• GPA: Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
• Prerequisites: Six hours of physical sciences (physics, kinesiology, exercise science, biomechanics, statistics or nutrition) and six hours of biological sciences (biology, chemistry, anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, nutrition or statistics), each completed with a C or higher.
• Resume: A current resume or CV.

Join a select cohort of future Registered Dietitians in our hybrid Master of Science in Applied Nutrition and Dietetics.

• Selection: Maximum class size of 15 per term; top-scoring applicants complete a virtual interview.
• Degree: Baccalaureate degree or higher from an accredited institution with a 3.0+ GPA.
• Personal statement: Up to 750 words on your goals and why you chose Logan.
• Recommendations: Two letters — one professional, one academic.
• Prerequisites: Grades of C or higher in Anatomy & Physiology I and II, general/organic/biochemistry, microbiology and human nutrition.
• English proficiency: TOEFL score of 500 (paper) or 79 (iBT) for international students whose degree was not taught in English.

• Prerequisites: Six hours in business, accounting, management, math, statistics, healthcare or computer science, completed with a C or higher.
