Logan University faculty members are coming together to celebrate the incredible legacy of Marcus De Geer, DC (’01), MD. As a passionate educator and dedicated healthcare professional, Dr. De Geer inspired countless students with his commitment to teaching excellence during his long tenure at Logan.

To honor his memory, we are placing a memorial bench in front of the Fuhr Science Center near his longtime office. Your generous donations will fund this tribute and establish a one-time memorial scholarship for a deserving Logan student, ensuring his impact on the profession continues.

For over two decades, Dr. De Geer served as a cornerstone of Logan’s Doctor of Chiropractic program. He shared his vast clinical knowledge through courses in Internal Disorders, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Pharmacology/Toxicology, and Dermatology.

Dr. De Geer’s journey to Logan was as unique as his teaching style. Originally a medical doctor in Stockholm, Sweden, and a talented pianist, he moved to the U.S. seeking a new way to help others. After experiencing the life-changing benefits of chiropractic care himself, he earned his degree at Logan and never stopped giving back to the community.

He was deeply admired by students and peers alike for his intellectual curiosity. As he shared in 2022, his goal was always to empower his students to love learning as much as he did. We are proud to honor a man who truly elevated the lives of everyone in the Logan family.
