• Current Students: Must attend an ARC-PA accredited program with an active Pi Alpha chapter, maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA, and demonstrate excellence in research, service, or clinical scholarship.
• Faculty: Full-time faculty with three years of experience who demonstrate distinguished scholarship and service to the profession.
• Alumni: Graduates who meet the current criteria for induction.
• Honorary Members: Individuals like clinical preceptors who provide distinguished service to the PA profession.
• Induction Limits: Students and alumni are limited to 15% of the graduating class; one honorary member may be inducted per class.

As one of the fastest-growing health professions in the U.S., PAs provide essential medical services across diverse settings, including primary care, internal medicine, and emergency medicine. Logan University is ready to meet this demand by training compassionate, evidence-informed clinicians through our Master of Medical Science, Physician Assistant degree.

This mission-driven program is designed to get you into the field in just 24 months, equipped with the clinical excellence needed to elevate patient lives from day one. Whether you are transitioning from another healthcare role or starting your medical journey, Logan provides the momentum you need to succeed in this high-growth profession.

Logan University has been granted Accreditation – Provisional from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). This status indicates that the plans and resource allocation for our proposed program appear to demonstrate the program’s ability to meet ARC-PA Standards. Accreditation – Provisional remains in effect until the program achieves Accreditation-Continued or until the accreditation process is closed. Logan University will matriculate its inaugural class in January 2027.

The first 12 months of the Physician Assistant program immerse you in the core foundations of medicine. You will progress through six sequenced units of study focused on organ systems, behavioral health, and infectious disease. Courses include Clinically Oriented Anatomy, Patient Assessment, Diagnostic Medicine, and Pharmacology. This rigorous phase ensures you develop the medical knowledge and clinical reasoning necessary to transition confidently into your clinical rotations.

The road to your PA career starts here. Logan University matriculates one class of 40 students each January.

• Next cohort cycle: dates announced through the Logan University Portal

All materials, including three letters of recommendation and official TOEFL scores (if applicable), must be received by the September deadline. Applications are accepted through the Logan University Portal from U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.

Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from a U.S. accredited institution and have a minimum cumulative and prerequisite GPA of 3.0 (preference is given to 3.2+). All science prerequisites must be completed within 10 years with a grade of C or better.

• General Chemistry I & Organic Chemistry I (with labs)

• Human Anatomy & Human Physiology (or A&P I & II series with labs)

• 500 Hours of direct patient care experience (e.g., CNA, EMT, MA, Scribe)

George A. Goodman Library: Access 250,000+ ebooks, 3D-printed bone models, and dedicated research assistance for evidence-informed practice. Success Coaching: Work with specialized coaches to stay on track, from first-day registration to board exam preparation. Writing Center: Refine your professional communication skills, from clinical case reports to your final applied thesis project.

94% target PANCE pass rate; 3.0 minimum preceptor evaluation score; 75% student leadership participation; 100% evidence-based medicine integration

The final 12 months are dedicated to Supervised Clinical Practice Experiences (SCPEs). You will complete nine total rotations, covering seven core disciplines and two electives.

Students return to campus during the final week of each trimester for intensive education, testing, and board preparation to ensure they are ready for the PANCE and entry-level practice.
