Activator Courses

Logan University's Continuing Education Department offers 11 on-demand Activator Method courses. Each course gives you 30 days to complete the material. Before enrolling, contact your state board to confirm it accepts online CE programs and how many hours it allows.

The four courses below build on each other, from first exposure to the instrument through complex casework.

Built for practitioners new to the Activator Method. Covers the history of the technique and the Activator Adjusting Instruments, then moves into Leg Length Analysis — the foundation for knowing where to adjust, when to adjust, and when to stop. You'll learn to adjust from the feet through the cervical vertebrae and occiput. Completing this course makes you eligible to sit for the practical exam to become Activator Proficiency Rated.

Adds advanced tests and adjustments for the shoulders, elbows, wrists, and hands. Completing it while Activator Proficiency Rated makes you eligible for Activator Advanced Proficiency Rating.

Advanced tests and adjustments for the hips, knees, ankles, feet, and related structures, for both acute and chronic care. Completing it while Activator Proficiency Rated makes you eligible for Activator Advanced Proficiency Rating.

For practitioners tackling complex cases: advanced Leg Length testing, pelvic involvement, the lumbar and thoracic spine, ribs, and the cervical spine and occiput.

Shorter courses covering documentation, risk, and specific patient populations.

The Full Training Series bundles Basic Scan Protocol, Upper Extremities, and Lower Extremities, with a 30-day intensive option or an annual option that keeps course materials available for a year.
