Congratulations to Jonathan Wilhelm, DC, MS, CCSP, CCEP, CSCS, ICSSD (2004) who was honored as the 2018 Sports Chiropractor of the Year by the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) Sports Council. Dr. Wilhelm, owner of Pro Chiropractic in Bozeman, Montana, was honored during the annual symposium of the ACA Sports Council.
“I am so surprised and grateful to have been recognized by my peers in this way,” said Dr. Wilhelm in a press release from Pro Chiropractic. “I love helping athletes achieve, and to be recognized for doing something I so genuinely enjoy is really something special. This award tells me is that I have represented sports chiropractic well and I hope to empower others to do so moving forward.”
Dr. Wilhelm has worked with competitive Olympic, college, and professional athletes as well as local high school and youth athletes experiencing sports-related pain or lack of performance. During his career, Dr. Wilhelm has served USA Bobsled Skeleton and USA Gymnastics as the Traveling and Event Team Sports Chiropractor. In February 2018, he became one of a select few sports chiropractors to serve the U.S. Olympic Team in Pyeongchang, South Korea, at the XXIII Winter Olympic Games.
