POSITION AVAILABLE: Chiropractic Physician & Sports Therapy

LOCATION: Weymouth, (South Shore) Massachusetts
My name is Christoph Maywald, and I have been practicing chiropractic rehabilitation and sports therapy for 45 years. I am looking to train/hire a chiropractic physician (recent graduates preferred) to eventually take over my private practice as I intend to transition into retirement over the next 5 years. This position is a prime opportunity for applicants to join and ultimately take ownership of a well-established and highly respected independent business located just 20 minutes south of Boston. With an excellent referral base through patients, physicians and other practitioners, the practice has grown to encompass a diverse patient demographic ranging from infants to high-performing athletes, and is recognized as a Tier One medical provider.

Responsibilities:
Learn to effectuate and manage an integrated chiropractic sports injuries practice
· Consult with patients about their chiropractic/medical history & the reason for their visit
· Conduct physical examinations for initial intake of new patients
· Create a profiled plan-of-care to maximize the patient’s overall health & well-being
· Examine the patient’s spine, posture & function to provide treatment/assess treatment response
· Perform musculoskeletal therapy by adjusting the spine & other joints
· Provide and manage therapeutic ancillary services such as myofascial massage, ultrasound and ESTIM therapy, acupressure, and sports-injury rehabilitation
· Advise and encourage healthy habits to help prevent injury/illness i.e. establishing sleep/exercise routines, giving nutritional recommendations, provide appropriate vitamin supplements
· Teach patients effective personalized exercise routines to maximize their range of motion or athletic performance
· Help athletes establish and implement sports conditioning/therapies and individualized supportive nutritional protocols

Necessary Qualifications:
B.S. & D.C. Graduate Degree
National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) Certified
Massachusetts Board Qualified/Licensed
