Claire Johnson, DC, MSEd, PhD, DACBSP, FICC
Claire Johnson, DC, MSEd, PhD, DACBSP, FICC is a Professor at the National University of Health Sciences where she serves as the Editor in Chief of three scientific, peer-reviewed journals Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics, Journal of Chiropractic Medicine, and the Journal of Chiropractic Humanities. She serves as the Chair of the Public Health Committee for the World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC). She has given years of service to the American Public Health Association (APHA) and the Global Spine Care Initiative (GSCI), which is an international research group dedicated to reducing the global burden of spine-related disease and disability.
She has received previous recognitions for her work including ACBSP Sports Chiropractor of the Year Award, Clinical Compass Person of the Year Award, American Chiropractic Association Presidential Award, Rising Star Award and the Distinguished Service Award, Chiropractic Health Care section, American Public Health Association, National University of Health Sciences Award for Distinguished Service, and the Fellowship of the International College of Chiropractic. She has contributed to the knowledge of the profession through publishing numerous articles and book chapters. She views her role as a mentor as one of her cherished contributions to the future of the profession. One of her greatest joys is witnessing change through the power of research and publication.
