No stranger to Para Powerlifting competitions, Christian Largo has five international events under his belt. He has competed across the globe in cities like Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan; Lima, Peru; Bogota, Colombia; Tokyo; and Mexico City, winning medals or placing each time. Largo is proud of the medals he has earned and is extremely honored to be representing his country. Recently, Largo competed in the regional qualifier at Logan University, qualifying for the World Cup that was to take place in Bogota, Colombia in March, but the event was subsequently was cancelled because of COVID-19. Largo continues his physical and mental training, preparing for his next competition. His ultimate goal is qualifying and competing in the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo, now to take place in 2021. Additionally, Largo is completing his undergraduate degree in communication studies at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia, and will graduate in May of 2021.
