Logan receives $1 million donation from Dr. William Purser

Dr. William Purser and Dr. Clay McDonald.

Logan University was the recipient of a $1 million gift during the 2018 Spring Symposium.

With his son by his side, William Purser, DC (1953) of Tavares, Fla., presented Logan President Dr. Clay McDonald with a check at the Symposium’s State of the University Luncheon and Address.

“The Logan community is grateful for the generosity of Dr. Purser,” said Dr. McDonald. “This gift will have a significant impact on the University and will enable us to make investments to better serve our students, faculty and the community.”

Dr. Purser has been a tremendous supporter of Logan University over the years, making financial commitments toward campaigns, student scholarships and capital improvement projects, such as the William D. Purser, DC, Center. He has also been an advocate for the chiropractic profession, and in doing so, has referred 12 students to University.

Dr. Purser has always had a special place in his heart for Logan.  His generosity is unequaled in the institution's history and should serve as a shining example to all alumni.  No matter what your means, support of our Alma Mater is the best way to show how much you care about the profession that has brought you so much..  Dr. Purser, Thank You!!
