Jay Elliott, DC, MEd
Dr. Jay Elliott earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and German language (1979) from Murray State University, Murray, Ky., a Master’s of Education degree in Higher Education Administration (2003) from University of Missouri St. Louis, St. Louis, Mo. and a Doctor Chiropractic Degree (1990) from Logan College of Chiropractic.
Dr. Elliott served in the Chiropractic Health Care Demonstration Project for the Department of Defense in the 1990’s at Scott Air Force Base, Shiloh, Ill. He began as an administrator at Logan in 1999 serving as Assistant to the Dean of Student Services and later became Director of Student Services in 2003. In 2006, Dr. Elliott began as the Academic Coordinator.
Dr. Elliott began teaching at Logan in 2000. In addition to teaching in the College of Chiropractic he began teaching in the Master of Science in Sports Science and Rehabilitation program in 2010 and then in 2011, began teaching in the undergraduate program. Courses taught include Philosophy and Principles of Chiropractic II and III, Logan Basic Technique II and III, Spinal Analysis, Clinical Methods I, II and III, Physical Therapy I and II, Orthopedics, Medical Ethics and Cell Biology.
