Deborah Salvatore, MS, RD, CDN
Deborah Salvatore received her Associates in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University, a Bachelor of Nutrition from Russell Sage College, a Master of Science in Applied Nutrition from Sage Graduate School and is currently completing her Doctorate of Clinical Nutrition from Rutgers University.
Deborah has been teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels since 2015. In addition to her teaching experience, Deborah has a strong clinical nutrition background. Her primary clinical focus since becoming a registered dietitian in 2007 has been working with the pediatric population. She has worked as an outpatient clinical dietitian and over the years has provided medical nutrition therapy to children and their families with various nutritional issues including failure to thrive, overweight/obesity, constipation, celiac disease, eosinophilic esophagitis, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), food allergies, cystic fibrosis, tube feedings and more. Her passion in working with this population has lead to the honor of having her research on pediatric obesity published.
