Chenee Gilbert, Ed.D., Ed.S.
Dr. Gilbert holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Elementary Education from Florida A & M University. She earned a master’s degree (MA) in Adult Education at Central Michigan University. Additionally, Dr. Gilbert has earned a specialist degree, Ed.S. in Curriculum Instruction and Management and doctoral degree, Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership at Nova Southeastern University. She has over 20 years of educational experience ranging from K-5, and undergraduate and graduate level teaching. In addition to being a former classroom teacher she is an Assistant Professor at an online university. Since Dr. Gilbert is a teacher at heart, her primary research interests have included employee training and development and strategies designed to enhance teacher preparation programs. She is also interested in areas of curriculum and instruction with a focus on the implementation of innovative technologies in educational settings.
