Executive Director of Student Success and Academic Engagement|Office: Suite 150
As Executive Director of Student Success and Academic Engagement, Scot oversees all academic support functions, including Academic Success Coaches, the peer tutoring program, Logan Writing Center and new student transition programs. He is responsible for leading a comprehensive retention program to ensure student persistence and graduation from Logan University. Previously, Scot served as the Academic Success Program Manager.
Scot earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Nevada, Reno before receiving his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
With more than 20 years of experience in higher education, Scot worked in student advisor roles and management roles in student services for three different institutions. From 2004-2012, Scot served as an adjunct professor for undergraduate students. More recently, he worked with education technology company clients to support their business development and talent needs.
Scot is currently a member of the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) and the National College Learning Center Association (NCLCA).
