Dr. Lee Van Dusen joined Logan University in May 2016. He is a graduate of the National University of Health Sciences and Utica College of Syracuse University.
He has worked in health care education since 1991 and higher education administration since 1995. He has held senior leadership positions at New York Chiropractic College, Texas Chiropractic College, and was president of the Council on Chiropractic Education (the accrediting agency for chiropractic degree programs in the U.S. recognized by the U.S. Department of Education). He has presented nationally and internationally on topics related to health care education, accreditation, strategic planning and organizational improvement.
Dr. Van Dusen is heavily involved in the field of quality improvement. He has lead quality improvement activities at each of the organizations where he has worked which has resulted in recognition of these organizations. He has also served as examiner and team leader for state quality improvement programs in New York, Arizona, Texas and Missouri.
Dr. Van Dusen is a member of the Baldrige Board of Examiners, which is a key part of the only national Presidential award for performance excellence, the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
