Jason Jordan, Ph.D., LPC, NCC, ACS

Dr. Jordan is an Assistant Professor and Assistant Director of Counselor Education at Missouri Baptist University (MBU), a licensed professional counselor in Tennessee and Missouri as well as a National Board Certified Counselor and an Approved Clinical Supervisor.  He obtained his Doctorate in Clinical Counseling: Teaching & Supervision from Trevecca Nazarene University and is a member of the American Counseling Association. Dr. Jordan serves as the Co-chair of MBU’s IRB and Scholarship and Research Committee as well as a Methodologist for the MBU School of Education’s two Ed.D. programs. Prior to teaching at MBU, he taught at Middle Tennessee State University, Trevecca Nazarene University, and served as the Education and Program Evaluation Coordinator at Mercy Community Health (MCH) which is an integrative community health clinic in Franklin Tennessee.  At MCH, Dr. Jordan served as a behavioral health consultant, supervised counseling interns, conducted program evaluations, researched special topics, and provided trauma informed interventions using Attachment and Systems Theories for adoptive parents.
