Dr. Houston has been educating a wide variety of health professionals for many years, first in her role as Co-Director of the Master of Health Sciences program at Washington University School of Medicine and more recently as Professor and Director of two programs at Fontbonne University: Health Education & Promotion and Dietetics.
She notes that “the DHPE program at Logan University is positioned to give health professionals practical tools in order to become outstanding educators. By doing so, health professional educators will prepare tomorrow’s practitioners to be patient centered and to deliver evidence-based practice, thus advancing quality health care well into the 21st century.”
Pi Kappa Chi is hosting a Fireside Chat with Dr. Montgomery on Wednesday, October 21st at 7pm at the Logan Pavilion.
Dr. Montgomery will be presenting on pediatric chiropractic. He has contributed to books on the subject and is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and the ACA Council on Pediatrics.
All are welcome to attend.
