An Overview of Personal Injury for the Practicing Doctor of Chiropractic
Instructor: Mark Floyd, JD
(Satisfies 12-hours of Missouri’s Required Hours)

Here is a seminar for every chiropractor who treats personal injury patients, or who wants to add this additional stream of revenue to his or her practice. In this outstanding comprehensive seminar attorney Mark Floyd teaches you everything you need to know to run a successful practice for your personal injury patients. If you treat personal injury patients, give depositions, or expect to testify as an expert witness in the future you will not want to miss this seminar. Mr. Floyd will provide expert advice on the legal aspects of the chiropractor as expert witness in personal injury cases. This comprehensive overview covers everything from preparing for depositions and courtroom testimony to how to prepare and deliver records – and how to get paid for them. He discusses the laws regarding medical pay, liability liens and other forms of payment. He will teach you how to interact with attorneys – how and how not to handle cases. He will review and discuss examples of typical office notes, exceptional office notes, and poor office notes. And much more.  Mr. Floyd will provide a video look at the experts who will be testifying on the other side – and he’ll show you that you are just as good as – and more likely better than any expert you might have to face.  A popular feature of Mr. Floyd’s presentation is a mock trial. Here he gets you involved in learning how to present yourself in the best possible light. You will learn the tough questions that attorneys ask – and how you should answer them. You will learn how attorneys approach a typical personal injury case. This really is a must-attend experience for every doctor of chiropractic who treats personal injury patients. This seminar is taught by Mark Floyd, JD.  Mr. Mark Floyd is a 1992 graduate of the University of Tulsa Law School. He is a member of the Missouri Bar Association and the Illinois Bar Association.
