100 Hour Basic Acupuncture Certification Course

Acupuncture is a well-known and respected healing art practiced around the world. According to Johns Hopkins Medicine, “Acupuncture is the practice of penetrating the skin with thin, solid, metallic needles which are then activated through gentle and specific movements of the practitioner’s hands or with electrical stimulation. Acupuncture is part of the ancient practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine.” Acupuncture is not a subset of chiropractic, and it is not a specialized technique. It is a separate and distinct healing system that fits very well with chiropractic care. This course prepares the Doctor of Chiropractic to learn and practice acupuncture in conjunction with chiropractic practice. All of the instructors in this brand-new certification course are Doctors of Chiropractic who hold Diplomate status in acupuncture. Each of them has vast experience in the use of acupuncture in their private practices and are experts in teaching this healing art. Acupuncture can take your practice to new levels. If this appeals to you, then this is the course you have been looking for!

Logan University’s College of Chiropractic Postgraduate Department is excited to begin a new era in high quality acupuncture instruction this year. We are proud to welcome Dr. Nick Gatto, Dr. Mary Jennings, and Dr. Gary Ditson to our campus to present 300 hours of top-notch acupuncture training to you. Starting October 24-25, 2020 these three expert instructors begin the 100-Hour Basic Acupuncture Certification Course. Starting January 9-10, 2021 they begin the Advanced Acupuncture Certification Program consisting of two additional 100-hour courses for a total of 300 hours of outstanding training in this powerful healing art. Successful completion of the Basic 100-hour course results in a certificate from Logan and eligibility to sit the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) acupuncture examination. The second and third 100- hour courses delve deeper into Advanced TCM Principles. Successful completion of these additional courses results in eligibility to sit for the American Board of Chiropractic Acupuncture Diplomate (ABCA) examination.
