Tour of the Body Program
One of the best ways to advance knowledge of the human body is through first-hand observation and hands-on study. Logan, as a part of its commitment to educational advancement and community service, offers this unique learning experience.
Logan’s anatomy laboratory serves as a portal-of-entry for future health care providers who seek knowledge of the human body. This experience is made possible through Logan’s body donation program, which has been in existence for more than 50 years. This program provides students with the opportunity to benefit from access to human cadavers for learning, dissection and research.
Logan's trained and certified Doctor of Chiropractic student guides lead the tours, providing an overview of human anatomy, as well as a first-hand introduction to the body’s organs and systems. For students, the objective of the tour is to advance one's understanding of human anatomy and assists in anchoring lessons from the classroom. For members of the community, the objective is to gain a better understanding of the structures and complexities of the human body and, overall, a greater appreciation for the study of human health.
