Logan in the Community

Logan University is a proud member of the St. Louis community and can often be found at a variety of health-oriented events. Here is a small sampling of some of the more recent events Logan interns have attended while studying to become Doctors of Chiropractic.

  • March Meltdown Hockey Tournament

    Seven Logan interns and one Clinician attended the March Meltdown Hockey Tournament at the Hardee's Iceplex and provided chiropractic care for approximately 60 patients.

  • Arctic Blast Hockey Tournament

    Three Logan interns and one Clinician provided chiropractic care, soft tissue and other treatments for 47 patients at the Arctic Blast Hockey Tournament.

  • CAFOCOD Health Fair

    Logan intern Ralph Manyara attended the CAFOCOD (Care for Orphans and Community Development) Health Fair.

  • Food Drive

    Logan interns Michelle Conant, Bart Hand and Taylor Funke along with Doctors Jennifer Kane and Bill Hogarth collected food at Logan's St. Peters health center location. All of the items collected were donated to Oasis Food Pantry in St. Charles.

  • St. Louis Public Schools Employee Health Fair

    Three interns – Greg Beauchamp, Chelsey Aitken, and Paul Dettling (as pictured) – participated in the St. Louis Public Schools Employee Health Fair.

  • MoBap Freedom Run

    Five interns treated 22 patients at the Missouri Baptist University "Mobap Freedom Run" held at the Ronald McDonald House.

  • St. Louis Public Schools Employee Health Fair

    Three interns – Greg Beauchamp, Chelsey Aitken, and Paul Dettling (as pictured) – participated in the St. Louis Public Schools Employee Health Fair.

  • Rock-N-Roll Marathon

    Nineteen Logan interns and two clinicians attended the Rock-N-Roll Marathon at Soldiers Memorial Park. A total of 169 patients were treated at the event.

  • Chesterfield Pumpkin Run

    Five Logan interns attended the Chesterfield Pumpkin Run. A total of 34 patients were treated.

  • Scottish Games

    Logan University is a proud sponsor of the Scottish Games and the Logan Cup Award which is presented at the event to the Athlete of the Year. Logan students and interns donated their time to assist in running the event and in treating the athletes.


  • CHIPS 5k Run

    Three student interns treated over 40 patients and provided free chiropractic care at the annual CHIPS 5k run.


  • Midwest Employers Casualty Group

    Amanda Musick, a Tri 9 student intern, recently presented a healthcare lecture covering ergonomics, posture and low back injuries at Midwest Employers Casualty Group's "Lunch and Learn" program.

  • MR 340 Kayak Race

    Logan interns treated patients throughout the MR 340 Kayak Race at locations in Jefferson City, MO and St. Charles, MO.
