Benefits / Provider Information
Benefits are available to full-time employees and regular part-time employees of Logan University. (30 hours per week or more).
Part-time employees with 20 hours per week or more can only earn paid time off benefits; no insurance benefits are offered. Insurance coverage begins on the first of the month following 30 eligible days of hire. This information does not guarantee any benefits or employment.

||Eligible employees with accrue vacation on a pro-rated basis until the end of the calendar year. At the completion of six months of employment, the employee is eligible to use accrued vacation.
|7 sick days per year - an employee may accumulate sick time in a sick days bank to be used for major illnesses only.
Logan offers medical insurance coverage through Anthem (BlueCross/Blue Shield). Our dental coverage is through MetLife. Eligible employees must work 30 hours or more per week to receive these benefits.

Life Insurance and AD&D Insurance
Logan pays for a Basic Life Insurance policy equal to one time your annual salary. A basic Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) policy is also provided to equal to one time your annual salary. Both these policies are with MetLife.
Supplemental Term Life Insurance
This is a voluntary participation coverage offered through MetLife. Eligible employees may choose to buy up to $100,000 additional life insurance coverage for themselves, no questions asked; up to $25,000 for spouse (spouse amount cannot exceed 50 percent of employee's combined benefit); and up to $10,000 for children.
Short-Term Disability Insurance
This is a voluntary participation coverage offered through MetLife. This benefit pays up to 60 percent of your pre-disability earning after seven days of illness/accident/disability occurring off the job. STD benefits end after a maximum of 90 days. The benefit and premiums are based on your age, wage and benefit amount selection.
Long-Term Disability Insurance
The Long-Term Disability benefit percentage is 60 percent of your prior monthly salary. The elimination period is 90 days of disability due to the same or related sickness/injury occurring off the job only.

|Voluntary contribution plan. Employees can start contributing right away.
|Vanguard 401a Plan
|Logan will contribute 5 percent of base salary after two years of employment. One year for employees hired after Jan. 1, 2013.

This program is a confidential service designed to help employees' families with personal or work/life balance issues. Free Chiropractic Care
All employees, their immediate family (spouse and children up to age 21) and anyone living in the household are eligible for free chiropractic care provided in our health centers.
You may choose to have your paycheck deposited directly into your checking and/or savings account.
