Benefits

Logan employees are eligible for a number of benefits including:

Health Insurance: Employees are eligible the first of the month following a 30 day waiting period. Currently, Logan utilizes United Healthcare and Delta Dental. Logan University pays a significant portion of the premium and the employee is responsible for a smaller portion.

Logan University’s current health care provider is United Health Care (UHC). Below are the current premium monthly rates paid by Logan and the employee for our two plans.

Vacation: Logan employees are entitled to 2-5 weeks of vacation, dependent upon the position and length of service.

Birthday Float: In addition to vacation time, all Logan staff employees receive one floating birthday day per year.

Sick Time: Logan employees are eligible for seven sick days per year.

Short Term Disability: Logan employees have an option to purchase this benefit.

Long Term Disability: Provided by Logan University.

Life Insurance: Logan University provides life insurance for employees that is equal to one year's salary.

Optional Life Insurance: Logan employees are eligible to purchase additional life insurance for themselves, spouse and children.

Retirement: Logan employees may participate in Logan's 403(b) TIAA-CREF immediately upon employment. In addition Logan employees may participate in the 401(a) Profit Sharing on the first of the month, following one year of service.

All employees have free access to Logan's Wellness Center.

Employees may enjoy special rates at the Jewish Community Center, Club Fitness, 24 Hour Fitness, Wild Horse Creek Fitness, CrossFit Chesterfield, CrossFit Ballwin and UFC Chesterfield.
