Steve Roberts Reelected Chairman of the Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs Board of Trustees; Other Board Reappointments Announced

Prominent St. Louis businessman Steve Roberts, JD, LLM, has been reelected to a fourth three-year term on the board of trustees at Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs and also reelected chairman of the board. Other St. Louis area residents elected to three-year terms as Logan trustees include Robert J. Stearley of Frontenac and Cynthia L. Baudendistel of Creve Coeur. Paul Henry, DC, of Baltimore, Md., Debra Hoffman, DC of Tampa, Fla., and Mark O. Reeve, DC, of Austin, Minn. were elected to their third three-year terms on the board. Dr. Hoffman was also reelected vice chair of the board. Those elected to their second three-year board terms include Anthony C. Bilott, DC, of Butler, Pa. and Christophe Dean, DC of Troy, Mich. Dr. Rodney Williams of Little Rock, Ark., who served on Logan’s Advisory Board, was elected to his first three-year term.
Mr. Roberts became a Logan College trustee in 2003, and served on the board’s executive committee as vice chair for 2005-06. He served as chairman of the board in 2007-2009 and 2009-2012 and will continue as chairman until 2015. He is president of The Roberts Companies and co-owner of a network of businesses bearing his family name in wireless communication site development and construction, television and radio, the largest MBE/WBE consulting firm in the United States, national and international real estate development including the Roberts Orpheum Theatre and Roberts Mayfair Hotel in downtown St. Louis.
A retired business executive, Mr. Stearley previously served on the Logan board of trustees from 1989 to 1998 and was reelected in 2009. He was an alderman for the city of Frontenac, Mo. from 2004 to 2006.
Ms. Baudendistel is an executive publisher with Elsevier, where she has responsibility for publishing five periodicals. She has worked at Elsevier (formerly Mosby) since 1989. This is her second three-year board term.
A 1993 Logan graduate, Dr. Henry has a chiropractic practice in Baltimore. During his first term on the Logan board of trustees, he served as a member of the investment and strategic planning committees. He became a member of the executive committee in 2008.
Dr. Hoffman, a 1980 Logan College graduate, has a chiropractic practice in Tampa, Fla. She served on the advisory council to the Logan board of trustees for 2005-2006 and has been a board of trustees’ member since 2006. She has served on the executive committee since 2006 and as vice chair since 2007.
Dr. Reeve, who practices in Austin, Minn., is a 1979 Logan graduate and has been a member of the Logan board of trustees since 2006. He serves as chair of the nominating committee and was an advisory board member from 2004-2006.
Dr. Bilott previously served on the Logan board of trustees from 1994 to 2004, including a term as chairman. From 1986 to 1993, he was a member of the board of directors of the Logan College Alumni Association and is a past president of that organization. A 1981 Logan graduate, he practices in Butler, Pa.
A 1975 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Dean has a practice in Berkley. Mich. and was named Michigan Chiropractor of the Year in 2007-2008. He is a board member of the Michigan Association of Chiropractors and past president of the Michigan Chiropractic Society. His son, Jonathan G. Dean is a December 2008 Logan graduate.
Dr. Bruns practices in Bangor, Maine. A 1979 Logan graduate, he is a past president of the Maine Chiropractic Association and since 1997 has been a Maine delegate to the American Chiropractic Association. He was named Maine Chiropractor of the Year in 1996.
Dr. Williams graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in December of 2000 and opened Williams Chiropractic Care in 2001 in Little Rock, Ark. He was honored as “Chiropractor of the Year” in 2006 by the American Black Chiropractic Association and serves as the national President of the American Black Chiropractic Association, a position to which he was elected in August 2008. He is a member of the Arkansas Chiropractic Association.
